Here is a photo of my male Zavien(A.K.A Boogie bear)
No it's not the best stack but what are you going to do with such a high drive male that can knock you down(which he did twice while trying to get this) Anyway he is out of V Cliff v Osterburgeck SchH3, KKL1(DDR) and
Sandra v Alschbachtal SchH3, KKL2(West Working). Zavien has his OFA Good and is going with a police officer in March for training and titles. He has been used in breeding and you can see many of his progeny on my site under Gallery, and 2 of his son's are on my home page, or on the pedigree data base. He throws out huge bone, with gorgeous heads, and color. He is an exceptional dog, with nerves of steel and a very clear head on him. Very easy to train and picks up very fast as well. I can't say enough about this guy. He is the best of both worlds. DDR and West working _________________ Kelly S

OH YEAH, He loves his nickname he gets all wiggle butt and wants hugs when I call him boogie bear He loves hugs, and he's a big boy too!!! He weighed in at 93 pounds(he lost some weight), but he's no couch potato that is for sure!!! He is like that energizer bunny rabbit, that goes, and goes, and goes, etc _________________ Kelly S

Man, the abuse you ladies heap upon your studly dogs with the cutie names.......LOL...nah, I know they love it!
I like him Kelly, I like him a lot. I would love to see some more pics of him, too. I love black shepherds now...I never thought about color at all, I guess I love all of them...but, there's something about a big solid black GSD that's appealing to me. I'd love to get another one some day, and I'm just gonna have to get a black sable and a bi-color to compare. LOL |

Yes Roger, I have to admit to being partial to large black male shepherds. There are quite a few pictures on my Rainbow Bridge post for Shadow 1993-2006 _________________ Michele

He's a beauty Kelly. I REALLY like the DDR / West working line crosses. To me they have it all.
Yeah Roger I have lots of pookie wookie names for my boys, they are bigger babies than any of my girls would ever be. Guess its that male shepherd thing. Kind of like a few men I know. ( I do know a few men )
Aron is the one dog who will snuggle and sleep on my bed all night. Or be in anyone's lap who will rub his ears. _________________ "Wag more, Bark less"

Kelly he is very nice looking, I really like what I see in the East/West crossed lines as well as the Czech/DDR crossed lines. My next pup will probably be a Czech/West cross and Eric's dog to train for French Ring.
For my birthday when I was dating my now husband he surprised me with a day at Kraftwerk kennels and it was a blast. We were there for most of the day watching training, looking at puppes and seeing quite a few of his breeding dogs. I was going to get a Kraftwerk dog until he sold Cruger and I started doing even more research.
Zavien sounds like his temperament is a dream and I'm looking forward to more updates of his training. _________________ *Jamie Bodeutsch*

Thanks everyone He is a dream to work with I've never had a dog that picks up so fast and is so easy to train He is just awesome He has that natural on and off switch too. He can take a bite on the sleeve and take it with him off the field and be so lovie with people off the field right after the bite work. I do have to say I love the DDR/West working cross a lot!! I couldn't have asked for a better dog from Kraftwerk kennels. I wish I was able to go over there to check his kennel out, but I am in Awww with this big boogie bear that they sent me _________________ Kelly S

By now I'm guessing my otherwise dignified dogs must feel really slighted and deprived since they don't have any cute nicknames. The occasional nicknames I DO use cannot normally be spoken in public or in mixed company _________________ Judy Malone
