DDR German Shepherds
Meeting place for breeders and owners of East German Shepherds to talk about their dogs, litters and any other related topic. There are plenty of other boards for WGR, CZ, Show and Am-line dogs; this is for at least 50 percent DDR workingline dogs only.

This story reminds me of my bad boy kitty Twinkie (died many years ago at the ripe old age of 17).
My next door neighbors were preparing dinner. They left the kitchen briefly. As the husband walked back through the kitchen door, he saw Twinkie's butt and tail flying through the window with the chicken gripped by his fangs. Twinkie headed to the fields nearby and was not seen for a couple of days. This was a whole chicken they were going to roast.
Twinkie was a very big kitty but that was really shocking. _________________ Michele

Years ago my Sly and her roommate Mystic (a lab x rescue that belonged to my coworker) went to the neighbors and did a number on his chickens....the BC rounded them up and the Lab did the bird dog thing...
Now the only good thing about this...he was so mad at us for a little while that we did not get any squash, zuccini or other veggies for a while (at the time we were not much about garden veggies...). _________________ Gisela & Gang (all of them!)

The story about the kitty reminds me of my good friends Great Dane, he is tall enough to eat right off the counter and we had a play date about a month ago. Rocky(GD) stood at the counter and ate the entire plate of Nachos while we weren't paying attention.
Gorgeous Guy. I absolutely love his colors. Sounds like you have a mischevious one, but can anyone honestly say that their own has not caused some mischeif. _________________ Daniel
