DDR German Shepherds

Meeting place for breeders and owners of East German Shepherds to talk about their dogs, litters and any other related topic. There are plenty of other boards for WGR, CZ, Show and Am-line dogs; this is for at least 50 percent DDR workingline dogs only.

I'm very excited to introduce to you the new "man" in my life -
Quindt !
This beautiful, intelligent, rich dark blk-red bicolor is by :
UKC CH/UCI INT CH Eik v Clausberg SchH3 TD Kkl-1 Lbz a-normal, and out of UCI INT CH V-Venus v Grafental SchH3 Kkl-1 a-normal.
Just like his daddy, Quindt is a "anyplace/anytime/anthing" kind of dog. He loves to travel and meet people and loves new experiences. Probably one of the smarter pups I've encountered, and I couldn't be happier. His littermate (I co-own her with Jessica) took Best in Show and 2 reserve best in show at her only outing so far. NICE PUPPIES!
Pictured at 4 1/2 months:

Judy,
He is darling.. Is his Date of Birth Aug 3? If so, I just bought his littermate sister. She is arriving this coming Sat.
I will get you some pictures of her once I get her if you would like?

Yes, Kim. That'd be great. Which color pup did you get? I also have a dark bicolor bitch puppy from that litter that is every bit as awesome as Quindt. Pictures coming soon!

Judy,
My new Girl is also a Bi color. She also has huge bone. I am very impressed with her. I can't wait to see her in person. Only a few more days.
I also have been in contact with the new owner of a sable male from the litter. I will send you some pictures of him.

Judy he is awesome looking, of course I am a bit partial because I do have his littermate Laughing
Good luck with him it will be fun to watch these pups grow up and how they mature especially since they are all in 3 very different types of homes.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. Words can't tell you how rotten this little guy is - sleeps with me, goes everywhere with me, and sometimes just goes and sits in the truck waiting to go... anywhere Smile He has me pretty well trained. He comes in and out of the house pretty much at will... he knows all he has to do is sit at the door, and it will open, and if I don't notice him pretty quickly, he'll scratch and give a small whine or bark. No matter where we go, he seems totally at ease, and the King of the realm. I'm loving him more every day.
The funniest thing was when he saw his twin sister (nicknamed "Toots")that I co-own with a friend. they bothstarted barking at each other like a puppy looking in the mirror for the first time, and since they look SO identical, it DID look like a mirror image with all the posturing and barking. TOO funny!
And yes, Kim and Yvette - PLEASE keep us updated with pics of your guys in this youth dogs category too too!!

I'm letting the suspense build Smile hehehe
Actually I have been working on the free stack and stand in motion with him, and he's doing super! So I may have him stack out for a couple tomorrow. We'll see Smile
