Hi Forum and many Friends!
I wanted to let you know I have asked Judy and Gisela to remove me from the forum as a Moderator, I love this forum, many friends here and well also my extended K9 family. But I have found over the last 3 years..well almost 4 that I have been parts of forums and a forum member that I have neglected more and more, time with my family, training my dogs, time with my friends who are near and far. My oldest son will be a Senior in High School this coming year, and is nearly 18. Soon he will be joining the US Coast Guard as well. This weekend he is doing his Final Mock Search with ESAR for his Certification. My youngest son is almost 13 and is in Majors this year with Baseball. Seems just yesturday we were trying to get him to use both hands to catch the ball and to be brave enough to swing at a pitch. Now he plays Starting Pitcher and also Catcher. I turned 40 in February ( That was an eye opener )and I have been a single parent nearly 17 years while the first half of my marriage was as a Military wife then one thing or another lets just say I have raised two beautiful boys and the 3 of us have had many struggles but have a lot of love for each other and made it through some pretty hard times. Life is very short. Your babies grow up, your dogs grow old and there can be much heartache along the way as well as much happiness. Managing my Kennel, website, family and life is a full plate right now and with time just slipping by so fast I think it is time that I look at where I need to be. I will still be on here to visit from time to time and I have enjoyed so much getting to know so many of you but forums take a lot of time and commitment that I just don't have right now I hope you will all understand. Its so great for summer to finally be peaking through. I just got back from my sons ball game and it could not have been a more beautiful day ( we won BTW 15 - 5 Woo Hoo!!! )
Anyway for my clients who are on here I am as always just a phone call or email away, lets keep in touch!!! For the rest of you it has been fun and I will be happy to pop in show some pictures and look at many beautiful dogs. It was wonderful to be part of a forum and founding member of a site that is so well known for being respectful to others and friendly!!! You guys all keep up the great work and we will see you all around!! Hugs love and kisses to all the fur butts!!!

Yup I agree, there is more important things than this.
However, there is nothing more important than friends (right after family that is ) so please make sure you still manage to pop in at times and keep us up to date what is going on with you and your gang. _________________ Gisela & Gang (all of them!)

Aahhhh Thanks a lot you guys! I do plan to still be on here but just not as a moderator or as much. Many of you I email on a regular basis privately also anyway so not much will change other than maybe my house will get a little cleaner and I can make sure my kids rooms are clean too ( they will probably hate that part) and I just won't be moderating
My son is on a Coast Guard Forum right now too so we have been fighting over computor time!!! He was happy when I said I would be on the computor less.
Anyway you guys are great, its not good bye so its all good!! ~ Julie _________________ "Wag more, Bark less"

Hi Julie,
It's good to know you will still be around and post when you get the chance.
I'm happy to hear you will be spending more time doing the other things you enjoy and cherish....like being with your boys!
Your oldest is going to Coast Guard...I applaud his decision for choosing to serve It's a difficult time for all who serve and their families. Spend as much time as you can with him because he might not be stationed in Washington state when he is done with his training....and then you will miss your baby _________________ Sal

Thanks Sal! It is amazing how addicted you really get to the forum.....geesh!! Cody is really excited about the CG. I know I can't believe he might actually be stationed away from me I told him I will be staying with him lots...that will be so strange. I have been looking to get him a car too I want something that will last him and be dependable, just the whole thought of him with his own car too is hard to imagine for me, and then the day when he just drives away. _________________ "Wag more, Bark less"
