DDR German Shepherds

Meeting place for breeders and owners of East German Shepherds to talk about their dogs, litters and any other related topic. There are plenty of other boards for WGR, CZ, Show and Am-line dogs; this is for at least 50 percent DDR workingline dogs only.

Hi,

I posted this once before a while back. I am going to copy and paste it again because it helped last time! Here ya go:

Ok, for me it helps to write down the steps, even for fairly easy stuff....so I know that I have the steps to go back to if I forget. It is the way I have learned EVERYTHING on the computer, because...I'm old, and it doesn't come natural to me!!! LOL!!!

So here are the steps so you can look at them and learn how easy this is!!!

1. If the photo is in photobucket, or the database or anywhere were there is more than just the photo on the page, right click on the photo with your mouse. You will see 'view image'. Click on that and you will see the photo all by itself on a white background. (You can skip this step if the photo already appears all alone on the page)

2.Now go up to the box with the URL (the http address) and highlight it. Right click again, and choose 'Copy'.

3. Come back to the board and write your message. When you are done with the message, look up above the white text box that you are typing in and you will see a list of 'buttons' starting with the capitol B. You will see, on the right side, a box titled IMG. Click on that box and you will see that it has put the bracketed IMG at the bottom of your text in the white typing space. Like this:

4. Put your mouse just on the right side of that IMG and right click again, choosing 'paste'. You will then have the url to your photo copied on your message.

5. Then choose Preview at the bottom, instead of Submit, and check that your photo is there...then hit Submit. Done!

It sounds SO complicated writing it all out! Yet it takes only SECONDS to do in reality!!!

Hope this helps!!!!!

Kathleen (Yes, I have been quiet recenty, but nothing is more boring than hearing about someone else's computer problems so I will spare you all!! LOL!)

I'm sorry, Julie! Embarassed

So I don't hijack this thread too much, Sawyer is gorgeous and a brat...status quo! LOL! I think I notice a slight maturity peeking through...then I am pretty sure it is my imagination! But, I adore him.

I have to take some pics, I can hardly believe the June 4th crew are ten months old already!!!!

I have a 'new' computer, which is really my brother's cast off parts, it has a few problems but nothing like the old one so I will hopefully be around more again!

Kathleen
