Meeting place for breeders and owners of East German Shepherds to talk about their dogs, litters and any other related topic. There are plenty of other boards for WGR, CZ, Show and Am-line dogs; this is for at least 50 percent DDR workingline dogs only.

I agree Michele- the first pic of green boy looks like he just got woken up from a nap  I especially like re girl. Too adorable. Beautiful puppies, Judy. What do you expect from these puppies? You know, as far as temperment, etc.

I do have a couple of reservations, but had not advertised this litter until now, except on my website and the announcement here.
I think these pups will have outstanding potential for just about anything but AKC conformation
Their conformation will be fine for UKC and International shows, but they don't crouch enough for AKC ring
Anyway -
Eik is so enthusiastic about everything he sees and does, I hope for that enthusiasm and level-headedness in these guys. Lucy is also very level-headed, and while she likes to work, she's not nearly as over the top about things as Eik (thank GOD)
Both Eik and Lucy are on the large side, with really good bone, and beautiful heads, so I expect that from this litter as well.

Don't know why this never occurred to me until just now, but the Eik-Lucy pups are SO closely related to the Eik-Venus litter, it's not even funny!
Of course both litters are sired by Eik. Venu's dam is Nonne v Grafental, a full older sister to Lucy's sire, Sven v Grafental! But WAIT, that's not all....
Lucy's mother Tinka, and Venus' sire Iran v Tannenkrug are also related as follows: Both have Neumann's Jim in the 4th generation, and in the 5th generation, not only Jim's parents, Don v Rolandsteich and Neumann's Frenzi, but also Artus vd Westendhohe (the sire of Zorro v Laager Wall!)
So I'm guessing this Eik-Lucy pedigree is approximately 85-87% the same as the Eik-Venus litter! For what it's worth!
