I could only shoot this through a rather dirty window....(I think those are Goeres pawprints... ) but wanted to share with ya'll a rather nice little scene.
The siamese cat and another I have love Cinch and Strydor. So most of the time I find one or the other hanging out with the dogs. However, the deceiving part is that Strydor would just as soon eat Cinch if given half a reason or chance.....

Very cute. Do the dogs really LIKE the cats or just put up with them? My indoor/outdoor cat drives Diva CRAZY. He is constantly rubbing on her and he thinks he needs to lay between her front legs. Sometimes she just gets a look on her face like LEAVE ME ALONE FREAKING CAT! But all she does is move if he gets on her nerves too bad. |

very cute picture. I love dogs and cats that get along. My one indoor/outdoor cat loves to go out in back and lay with Umi in her kennel, or if she sleeps inside at night, they both sleep on the dog bed in the closet together. The people I got her from almost 4 yrs ago said she would kill cats.. actually they said other dogs too..

That's it You must move in with me and take a photo-doctumentary of my animals and Hannah!!! Your pics are turning out to be magazine quality!! Excellent.
All three animals look like they are really enjoying the company, even though it does not tell the whole story _________________ *Jamie Bodeutsch*

Cinch seems to have this angel/devil thing going on.
Does Cinch really love the kitty or is Cinch using the kitty as a P.L.P. (public leaning post)? _________________ Michele

Well, first off, Jamie, I can do pictures but changing diapers would be a bit tough for me. First time someone handed me a relativly newborn, the head fell back and I was convinced I broke it!!!!! I didn't know at the time (and it was only about 15 years ago) that they could not support their heads yet.
All it took for them to look at me was to pick up my camera and aim. Had I actually gotten off the couch, they would have run around the house to the other door....so the trick was to get them to sit still more so.
Cinch loves the cats. Unless they get on her nerves. Then she lets them know. She actually is more than willing to let some of my fosters nurse on her. Although she has not milk. I guess she knows that the kittens sometimes need the comfort. The funny thing is when it is an older kitten doing it.
Stydor likes the cats as well. Some more than others but I never worry about a cat with her at all.
But, Strydor and Cinch do not like each other at all. I have to be very careful with them. Should I ever reprimand Cinch in Stry's presence, she will try to kill her. I also never leave them alone in the house together. Outside with no one around they are ok. I see them lying together a lot. Or they go off exploring. But too much excitement and they get stupid. Stry considers Cinch prey I guess. Which is funny as she never even tries to chase a cat. But then again, the cats also are not rude, loud and abnoxious either!
Sarah, the picture of them looking at each other is just priceless! _________________ Gisela & Gang (all of them!)

Those are great pictures, Gisela & Sarah! Cinch is most definately got the angel/devil thing going on.
Sarah, that bottom picture of them looking at eachother is awesome!
Dixie & our cat Tigger got along fine. Tigger split Rebel's nose open the 2nd night we had Rebel. They had a mutual distain for each other, but never messed with the other one again. Cotton on the other hand thought Tigger was an interactive play toy & would follow him everwhere. Keep in mind that Tigger "egged" her on by swishing his tail back & forth. _________________ Barclay

When I lost Hannah, my cat Sophie, the hysterical, overbearing, goofy one, looked for Hannah for the longest time. It was probably several months later that I saw her snuggle up to Strydor the first time and it was almost like it was a turning point with Strydor. From not minding the cats to actually even showing some sort of like for a few of them.
On a side note, Strydor is not to be trusted with tiny animals. Believe it or not. She is never allowed access alone to baby pups, or kittens. Untill they open their eyes and start resembling creatures she considers them on the same level as moles I guess. _________________ Gisela & Gang (all of them!)
